1. Eye Kettleby Lakes, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire
Eye Kettleby Lakes holiday park in Leicestershire have 12 luxury log cabin lodges. Eight have private outdoor hot tubs, 3 of which are dog friendly. The other 4 lodges have individual outdoor hot tubs and private indoor saunas. Perfect for anyone who loves to fish, the park is a luxury family-run fishery with eight coarse fishing lakes, set across 150 acres of countryside, just on the outskirts of Melton Mowbray.
Guests enjoy the tranquility of the site with a variety of local activities nearby to suit anybody’s needs and wants. Eye Kettleby Lakes touring park and glamping pods areas are strictly adult only. However, they do allow families to stay in their log cabins and children are permitted to use the fishing lakes on the complex with adult supervision and the tearoom as day visitors. 2. Old Oaks Touring and Glamping Park, Glastonbury, Somerset
Old Oaks Touring Park is a holder of the AA 5 Pennant Platinum Award, given only to parks with quality scores over 95%, plus a rare Gold award from Visit England. The facilities and amenities are second to none. There are 4 cedar lodges to choose from, all of which are cleverly landscaped to provide a sense of privacy and green space. The lodges are perfect for romantic getaways or quiet countryside breaks. One of the lodges also benefits from its own hot tub.
Little luxuries and creature comforts include a beautiful shower room with basin and toilet. The kitchen includes a Belfast sink, solid oak worktops, a microwave, full sized fridge, electric hob, kettle, toaster and all your kitchen necessities. 3. Clippesby Hall, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
The pine lodges at Clippesby Hall are tucked away along a woodland track. Each is set in its own woodland glade with views over surrounding farmland and open countryside. The lodges are well equipped for self catering stays, with an oven, hob, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and microwave. You can even do your washing in the lodge should you feel inclined! The flat screen TV will make you feel at home, as will the family bathroom. Self catering has never been so comfortable!
4. Ladram Bay Holiday Park, Budleigh Salterton, Devon
Ladram Bay are host to a wonderful selection of lodges on the Devon coastline, providing something for all budgets and a home away from home for their visitors. The team pride themselves on offering little extra luxuries that make a holiday special. Each lodge has a fully fitted kitchen with cooker, microwave and fridge. Private hot tubs are situated outside on the decked area.
5. Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park, Somerset
Exclusively for adults, Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park was voted the UK’s best adults only caravan park between 2009 and 2019. The park has been in the Top 100 Sites Guide for 20 years and was 2023’s Regional Winner. So, you’ll be very happy to see that this uniquely peaceful park is based on a garden theme, with all pitches set amongst lawns, shrubs and flower beds.
Open all year, 800 yards award is Chew Valley Lake and country park, one of the best places in Somerset for bird watchers and walkers.
There are two lodges available; 1 and 2 Friarswood. Above is 2 Friarswood, a contemporary lodge that is spacious and situated at the edge of the small wood with a large deck to sit out on. Inside there is a spacious lounge with TV, dining table and chairs and separate bedroom area with a full size double bed. There is a fully featured kitchen with oven, dual rings, microwave, fridge, kettle & toaster. There is also a bathroom with shower, sink and loo.
6. Brighouse Bay Holiday Park, Kirkcudbright, Scotland
Brighouse Bay Holiday Park is settled in a beautiful bay that highlights the coastline of Scotland. It is an idyllic location for a luxury hot tub lodge holiday. The furnished wooden lodges provide a warm, spacious and comfortable holiday home, with either 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms. The cabin feel lodges have double glazing and central heating, in case you were concerned about being exposed to the Scottish coastline!
