The parks cater to adults, and all but one accepts dogs, so many are dog friendly too with excellent facilities for your canine companion. They specialise in holidays for adults who would prefer not to holiday with children on site and prefer somewhere a little more peaceful. As the quality of the parks is assured, you can be happy in the knowledge that you’ll be staying at a 5 star graded holiday park, and that Visit England/Scotland/Wales or the AA have inspected and graded them.

Amazing Locations
Our holiday parks are spread across England, Scotland and Wales. We don’t currently have any in Northern Ireland but do make contact if you know a 5 star graded holiday park there – we’d love to have them be part of Best of British! Do ask them to make contact with us if they meet our high standards!
We have both countryside and coastal locations on offer at Best of British. Stretton Lakes is a countryside based park, in the smallest county in the country, Rutland. Rutland Water isn’t far away, one of the largest man made lakes in Europe. It is set in over 3,000 acres of beautiful English countryside, with many activities on offer, from watersports to walking, cycling and wildlife spotting.
Stretton Lakes offers easy access to the nearby counties of Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire – so the park is perfect for exploring the East Midlands. A wonderful adult only park near the coast is Cherry Tree Springs, located on the Lincolnshire coastline in Sutton on Sea. Set in 3 acres, with 60 caravan and motorhome pitches.
Every Best of British holiday park is in a unique part of the country and your hosts will know all the best local spots for sightseeing, eating, walking, cycling and wildlife spotting. Be sure to tap into their local knowledge, not just to experience the main tourist attractions, but also to see what quieter areas are worth exploring, especially if you are visiting in school holiday time. There are always tranquil spots to explore, you just need to be pointed in the right direction!
Luxury Facilities
5 star facilities are available at all of our locations. Old Oaks in Glastonbury is a perfect example of what is on offer. Often compared to a 5 star hotel, Oak Oaks shower and toilet facilities have proved to be one of our most popular social media posts ever. The facilities at each park vary, but all are the highest quality with excellent standards of cleanliness.
Indulge Your Hobbies and Interests
Perhaps you have hobbies you’d like to indulge during your holiday. You may enjoy water sports, hiking or gentle meandering through meadows. Many hobbies and interests can be enjoyed when you stay at an adults only Best of British Holiday Park. Let’s take a look at Fields End Water and Eye Kettleby Lakes in Cambridgeshire and Leicestershire respectively. Both are fishing based sites, with many options for keen anglers. Fields End Water Caravan Park is open nine months of the year.
Enthusiastic anglers will find fishing for all levels, ramblers will enjoy the flat, expansive Fenland countryside and those who just want to sit back and relax can do so in beautiful and natural surroundings thanks to their adults only policy, combined with the fact that they are not near any major roads or under any flight paths.
In Leicestershire, Eye Kettleby Lakes is a luxury family-run fishery and holiday park set across 150 acres of the rolling Leicestershire countryside. On site you will find log cabins, coarse fishing lakes, glamping pods, a touring site and a clubhouse. The fully equipped dog facilities mean a great stay for your pup too!
Unique Design & Private Pitches
The pitches at many of our adult only sites are designed for privacy. Below you’ll find the avenue style of Long Acres Touring Park in Lincolnshire and the privacy hedges at Cartref Caravan and Camping in Shropshire.
5 Star Standards
All our holiday parks have been graded 5 star and have received the highest pennant rating from the AA, with many of our parks having achieved the Platinum Pennant award. As the only 5 star graded holiday park in North East Somerset, Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park have achieved one of the highest percentage gradings in the UK. Between 2009 and 2019 the park was voted the best adult only park in the UK.
Dog Friendly
Almost every Best of British touring and camping site is dog friendly! From hot dog washes to drying areas and enclosed dog walks, the humans will not be the only ones to receive the 5 star treatment with us. Take Trethem Mill Touring Park in Cornwall for example, where the facilities are just as good for your pooch as they are for you! All the parks ask is for responsible management of your dog so as not to encroach on anyone who isn’t quite as comfortable with dogs.
