Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre

Ranging from cycling and walking, to Geotagging (the 21st century version of treasure hunt) and Tusker’s Iron Age Hoard Hunt, there is plenty to do to keep you occupied on your visit. 

The 30 acres of meadow offers many different walking routes, suitable for everyone. With outlined distances and completion times, finding a route suitable for you couldn’t be easier. These range from the “Riverside Ramble”, which is 2 miles long and takes 1.5 hours to finish to the 10 mile “Wart Hill Wander”, which takes 5 hours. Take your pic! 

Eating and drinking at the discovery centre is made easy by the award winning cafe. With plentiful refreshments ranging from coffee and tea to, fully packed lunches, you’re bound to find something that satisfies your cravings and make for a good refuel. 

There is also more things to do in the area. Land of the Lost Content Museum, Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Stokesay Castle are more highly rated attractions to keep you occupied during your visit if you fancy something different.
